The weather has been rather unphotogenic here of late … and rather uncomfortable, too, so there's been precious little reason to be outdoors, let alone to take photographs.
I have been afflicted with a very unpleasant arthritis in my right shoulder, which the doc has given me a pain-killer for … the shoulder still bothers me, but at least I'm stoned enough to think it would be a good idea to go outdoors and take photographs despite the weather.
The results of one such "expedition" follow … with, I imagine, a minimum of verbiage, which is just as well, considering I'm still stoned …
Some rain on the windscreen …
And some very wet clouds …
And another of rain on the windscreen, to finish up …
Well, there they are, folks … taken from the driver's seat of my car. I hope you enjoy them; I must admit that they were a bit of fun and learning for me.
And, being under the influence of a "controlled" substance, I'm feeling like a bit of a lie-down.
Cheers, all …

Sorry to hear that your arthritis is troubling you so. I've been taking glucosamine for mine and it seems to be working (or at least I believe it is working, which is just as good :D). I really liked the stormy shoreline with the dark trees. Going B&W was a good choice.

LOL … I didn't go B&W … these are full colour. It was a pretty monochromatic day.I use glucosamine, too. I first found it when my late doggie got arthritis in her back end … the vet recommended it. I figured "How can it hurt?" and tried it myself.

nothing like getting stoned legally and having some fun taking some photos…time always flies when we're having a good time…talking about flying brings me back to getting stoned…great way to spend the day…or even the night if you don't sleep much…

Yep. Just got up from a night like that … took the dope before retiring to keep the shoulder from waking me up … it woke me up anyway. I tried to tough it out, but finally got up and took another … yee-haw! … I didn't get back to sleep, but I really enjoyed the state I was in, except for the blind munchies, of course. I got up and ate a bunch of stuff, and that let me sleep. I woke a little later than usual, feelin' groovy.

Doctors are so reluctant to prescribe narcotics at this point in time that your arthritis pain must be quite bad. So far I only get knee pain when I'm doing stuff. I haven't yet been troubled when I'm just lying down. (Maybe something to look forward to…)

Good photos anyway in spite of the dreariness. Funny, they do look B&W except for the murky green of the water. Arthritis is another thing I'm wondering about my move. My neck, right shoulder and left hip joint bother me now in this heat. What is it going to feel like in the winter in ND? Hmmmm….we shall see.

Heating pads, luv … and sweaters.Later …Actually, I've not found temperature, per se, to be a problem, and most arthritis sufferers seem to agree. The real culprit is temperature change, especially rapid change. You, living in the desert, probably experience greater diurnal temperature change than you would in Fargo, especially in Winter. Naturally, very cold temperatures can be painful in themselves, however.Another source of discomfort is falling barometric pressure. I have a pair of toes that have been alerting me to the approach of dirty weather for years. I tell them that I don't need to know this, but they tell me anyway.

No, not particularly, as I recall … I don't remember wearing anything more than my jacket.
