In addition to providing us an opportunity for some nice "wet" pictures (I always really like working in wet weather, as long as it's not totally featureless), the sunsets have been very nice … they seem to promise something different for the morrow, but usually by the time morning rolls around, the sky is clouded up again. But the few minutes of sunset time, perhaps as much as an hour, provide some very colourful, not to say exciting, cloudscapes, as the sun drops down between the cloud layer and the earth. Here are some, from the past few days …
I suppose I should have been chattering between the shots, to uphold my reputation as a garrulous old man, but frankly, this dope I'm on has a tendency to keep me quiet.
OK, you guys … stop cheering!

As it turns out I'm looking at these photos on my tiny cell phone screen. They look gorgeous, but the tiny screen hardly does them justice. I'll be back.

The sky in Moscow must be big, like ours in the Great Plains … There must be differences in the way the air flows that cause the differences.
