These were just pics in the camera … not much to them, but I thought I’d post them anyway.
This first is of a wall-plaque sort of thing that was my daughter’s. It’s on my wall, now. I don’t know who it is supposed to be, but as she was a Buddhist, we might as well say it’s a head of the Buddha.
I guess.
Anyway, I was running some focusing tests on the Oly, and this happened to catch my eye.
I actually rather like it, and not just because it was hers … for one thing, the colours harmonise nicely with that part of the room, and it also seems to have a serenity of expression that I find pleasant.
This one was strictly a picture of opportunity … I was riding by and the sunglint on the water was incredibly bright. I made a couple of shots of it, and this is the best one. I can see now that there were some editing errors, and if I ever fix ’em, I’ll post that one here, too. But this is what I’ve got now, and it’s not all that bad:
Well, I just reworked the editing on the one above, and here it is, if I can convince this dippy software to post it:
And this one is the only one of a batch where I was trying to capture the sunlight on these trees … it’s the only really acceptable one; I was fighting sunflares all the time, and this one didn’t have them. More by good luck than good wit, I reckon.
Nothing else … we’ve been having dull grey everything lately, and the weather most inclement.
Cheers, all!
