It’s officially started

17 Nov

Here we go, again; a couple of weeks of abnormally cold weather, and then this … about a month earlier than last year:
I was expecting an El Niño winter this year … that’s an unusually warm winter, here … but it seems to have petered out, and we’re gonna get a long, cold one, again. I dunno … we’ve just barely recovered from the last one.
I understand Lake Superior is beginning to freeze over, and there’s 18″ of powder on the local ski slopes.

Cheers, all …

People here are afraid of drought, last year was drought year , as you know our society is agricultural one , the fuel is so rare because ISIS is controlling over oil resources, and it didn’t rain till now , really i wish that some of snow and rain travel from America to Syria

You won’t believe, but we got a piece of that, too. Not a snowy part but it has been cold for a week or so but with sun and clear blue skies so no one is really complaining 😀 It is the very edge of the same cold wave that caught entire northern hemisphere and brought snow and freezing temperatures in the Canadian interior. Now, it is getting warmer and we are expecting some rain again…. I wouldn’t mind to see some snow. As long as I don’t have to shovel it, that is 😛

LOL … I always love shoveling. I can’t shovel here, but I’d like to. I still keep my shovel.

So I’ve heard from Paul (Words) … and Eva over in Sweden. Martin is strangely silent.

It’s relatively mild here, but I was reading about the big snow storms you’ve been having. Hope everything is ok at your end.

Yep. Missed us by about 300 miles to the North, and then made a long fetch over (relatively) warm water of Lake Erie and picked up a LOT of moisture to dump on Buffalo, New York, at the Eastern end of the Lake. Seven feet in about 24 hours or so. They’re still trying to dig out enough so they can start to dig out.

Hi Charlie, is that time again? Indeed, cold winter.. it’s great capture of your front garden full of snow. We haven’t snow yet, but I think it’s going to be cold weather down here too. Hope you doing fine and have a wonderful winter season. 😊⛄⛄⛄🌇🌅
