Last weekend, my cousin, whose basement they’re in, decided she wanted her basement back, so we put on an Art Show-cum-Sale of my dad’s paintings in the fellowship hall of her church.
No, I’m not going to put up pictures of that; perhaps some other time, but I did manage to grab a few shots of the local fall flora (My, doesn’t that sound elegant! “Flora”, yet! Wow!).
Anyhow, here they are; as little comment as possible:
A rather interesting multi-colour tree, I thought … lovely shape.
This is not “The Last Rose of Summer”, but I’ve seldom seen a rose this size (about 2½ inches) in a tight ball like this. It would appeal to “The Four Macs”. If you don’t recognize “The Four Macs”, look them up … a group of Arts and Crafts artists in Scotland; the most famous being Charles Rennie MacIntosh.
