Things are starting to turn …

30 Sep

I’ve been making many trips back and forth to the hospital lately … wife caught a bug and it occasioned an intense regime of antibiotics. She’s in a rehab place, now, to get her strength back. She’ll be all right; I’m not concerned about that, but I’m being run ragged.
But the trips have shown me that lots of stuff is beginning to look like Autumn, and I’ve been making some pictures. Here are a few, no comments from me, unless necessary:

dW, So sorry to hear about your wife. I wish you both well and speedy return. Your shots of autumnal changes are great, and they look to be about mirroring changes we see here. Best wishes, Merle

Well, she’s back, and lots better. A UTI was getting to her brain … Toxins, I suppose … but they put her on an IV drip and she was rational in three days. The infection had taken so much out of her that she’s weak, so they put her in a rehab house, but it’s even more depressing than the old-folks’ home we live in, so I brought her home.
      Thanks for your thoughts …

It is nice as long as there is some sunshine to show the colours. Over here, once it starts raining, all colours are gone, just shades of grey remain…

I know what you mean … we have to seize the opportunity here, because as the year turns, we get clouds.

oh sure we do… winter, summer and hell.

The area I live is in semi-arid part of the world with most areas are textures of brown in winter or greenish in nature come the summer rains.
but such a gradual effect is unheard of in my neck of the woods. one day green leaves all around and the next naked branches are showing you the bird…..err…birds on them…

first of all I wish you and your wife health . These photos are better than a poem , do you know why ?
because they describe the autumn in a wonderful way , they are really expressive .
