It’s happened AGAIN!
I put up a perfectly good post, lots of writing and pictures, and I even saved a draft. The damned software even THANKED me for saving a draft!
And then, after at least an hour’s work, I went whole hog, and confidently hit “Publish”!
.
.
.
Nothing. ABSOBLOODYLUTELY NOTHING!
And the draft that the software thanked me for saving?
NOTHING!

After I collect myself, I’ll try it again.
If it happens again, I’m through, here.

Sorry bout that. Sounds like you need a new server/software. I’ve had no prob with WordPress in the past and still have it installed but haven’t kept it up. Too much time on other web sites.

they’ve “improved” the software for posting, and you know what “improved” means to people that “improve” things. What it means to most folks is that it doesn’t work any more.

I had that problem on My Opera. Very frustrating. I ended up doing my posts in Pages (the Mac answer to Word), and cutting and pasting.

  It’s occurred to me … using WordPad, and pasting in the photo codes.

I have a small trick I use because it happened to me once over here and several times in Opera. Just before posting, I select whole post and copy it. In case of any trouble, I can paste it again or if the trouble is persisting I can save it in any text editor and try some other time.

    I always use the classic mode editor. As far as I can tell it’s got a lot more features at the fingertips.

    Things have been a bit wierd around here recently. And by that I mean not so good. I won’t go into details – but I will say that Yasmin has not been in the best of health in recent months. I’ve been the one getting her through most of it as well!
