Man Hunt

This just came in to my email; I had to post it:

They dressed the truck up with the guy tied down on the roof.
The driver and passengers put on Moose heads.
Then they went down the Interstate, causing 16 accidents.
Yes; they went to jail.
Yes; alcohol was involved.

This proves that men cannot be left alone.

Reblogged this on daily or thereabouts and commented:
Thought this worth the share ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love my venison, but I love good humor, too.

Jill, I don’t find the reblog, and what’s more, when I first go there, it’s a page that essentially says that the blog doesn’t exist.

Could you provide me the web address? Happy Thanksgiving, dW!

Sorry not to reply in the proper place, but there’s no “Reply” button there.

Clicking on “daily or thereabouts” takes me here:
which seems pretty damned irrelevant. If you scroll down past the big orange pic, you come to a line that says “You seem to be lost”. If you scroll up and click “daily or thereabouts” (the header) you wind up on your page.

      Go figure.

I realize now; I believe I misunderstood the picture, so I took it down. I was thinking there was humor in it. ๐Ÿ™‚

You mean there isn’t humour in it?

The first thing that I thought on seeing this is that some drunken fools had replicated the video by Queens of The Stone Age for their song ‘No One Knows’. Great song that, mind you.

OMG, I’m surprised this wasn’t seen in North Dakota. Hunting is quite popular here.

One of my old friends once got the idea to stick a broomstick through the leg of a pair of trousers and attach an old boot on the end. He put it in the trunk of his truck, and left it sticking out. He didn’t drive anywhere with it. He just left it parked by the curb opposite his favourite cafe from where he could sit, enjoying his tea, watching people walk by his parked car. It was most amusing, he claims.

A friend of mine, on his graduation night in a Texas town, lay in the trunk of a car with his bare arm sticking out from the almost-closed lid, dribbled with catsup, while his friends drove around town.
      Texas, you know … sigh!

      Thank you, Eva.

Later: That link shows you what the smilies look like when they show up in a post. If you have that box checked that tells WP to show the codes as smilies, it will show them that way in your own pages.

The four-column box below shows the characters you have to type to get the smilies, each one begins and ends with a : … a suggestion: put a space before the first : … that’s something that many MyOpera people didn’t seem to realise.
