My brother's last dog used to chase the beam from a torch. But they're so much more sensitive to light and shadow than we are – maybe it looks irresistable.

Yes … he's a crank, but we love him.The more I look at this, the more painterly it looks … Caravaggio-esque chiaroscuro, kinda.
