Just a few bits of colour that attracted my eye, yesterday, while I was waiting for my kid to come out of the doctor's office. There was a dark mulch on the ground, and a few leaves had landed there. They're about all gone for the year, so I figured I'd better show them.
That's about it, I reckon … I'll make them into an album, too.
Thanks for dropping by … enjoy!
Cheers!

Are you going to migrate to a new site now they're closing this place?

I think so … I'm trying to work out the procedure for moving to wordpress, since most of our folk are headed there.

I beleive it's pretty straightforward. WordPress.com automatically imports all the images once the main file is uploaded.

I just now checked my total use of space, here, and it's only 29% of my allotted 2048MB. I reckon the zipped files will fit on my HD, at least for a while. Just to avoid trouble in future, I could even burn them to a CD.

Lovely photos, dW. The contrast of the bright colors on the dark ground is wonderful! This fall, they hung around on the trees for a little while to enjoy. Last year, the colors turned and the winds took them away in less than a week it seemed.

Words, the only images that got transferred to my WordPress were the ones in my posts. Did I miss something?

It will be great if you set up a blog on WordPress. And it's a wonderful surprise that you've still posted great photos here, too!

PainterWomanNo you didn't miss anything. You need to do a separate download of 'files' to get all your albums and everything else. I'm not sure whether WordPress has an album facility, but it would mean re-uploading everything.

I have my wordpress going now and. From all blogs and pictures in blogs I am at wordpress using 11% out of 3GB in this there is about 2500 pictures. I have not been able to make albums but it is possible to make something they call gallery. I have made one and it works nicely. What is sad is that it is not possible to upload the albums as far as I can tell. I will by the timechoose old pictures and upload in galleries but not as many as I had before 🙂 🙂

So far I haven't been able to do anything. I have the zip file but WP will not let me upload it. I have a question to the help forum so am waiting for an answer as to what to do. Sami Serola recommended I use a flickr account to store my photos. Maybe I'll do that. In the meantime, I'm going to copy all the photos to folders in my pc. Only thing I can do right now. I probably have most of them but there are a few albums I scanned in specifically for Opera.

On the other hand, I cannot get WP to give me a blog.
