Sami suggested that I post a URL of an interesting photographer … I dunno; maybe I've become some sort of a clearing house for this, but I certainly don't mind. Here's the address:
http://my.opera.com/theritu/albums/
It belongs to a (presumably; I think that Ritva is a Finnish female name) woman named Ritva Tiikala. There's no blog, and precious little "about", but the photos are interesting.
Pay her a visit, it's worth it …

Yes, Ritva is a Finnish female name 🙂 I spotted her at Google+, where she had posted a link to her MyOpera albums.

Well, here's another Finn I found some time ago, his nick is "Puistolanjussi", by which I assume that his given name is Jussi. Lots of pictures.http://my.opera.com/holaju/about/

Yes; I remember Jussi Björling, but he was Swedish. I reckon they can borrow names from each other.

There are lots of Finns immigrated to Sweden. And then there are many Swedish speaking Finns who have Swedish names.Jussi is very traditional Finnish surname, and Björling is typical Swedish family name.

Yes, really nice photos. Particularly like the fireworks album. Also, love the statues in the first album. In that same first album, was a dog that looked very much like my Keeshond, Camie, that I had to put down two years ago. Merry Christmas to you and hope you had a wonderful day dW.

Very nice, subdued. Mia had me in stitches, as usual. She is quite the ham.Cold too. Had to pick my minpin up and take her outside because she wouldn't go out. 13 below just wasn't her cup of tea. Never got above minus 3 today. Bless her heart. Yesterday, I had to run out to get her as she didn't want to walk anymore, was holding up her front paw and yelping. Never heard her do that before. With these temps, I'm going out with her till it warms up a bit. I imagine it is about the same in your neck of the woods.

I think you have and so has a couple other people too. I may get to PetsMart today and see what they have. I can't imagine them staying on very well though.

And she may not put up with them, either. The holding up the paw is a clear signal; all dogs seem to do it, and it means the same thing. When she does that, hold her paw in one hand and stick your finger up in between her toes, ahead of the pad. 'Way up there, you'll find an iceball. Hook your finger around it and drag it out. Probably all the paws can use the same treatment.

I think it is important to share links like these  I have considered to republish dW's posts of interesting photographers as a one list on my blog, some day…And that is also why photography groups are so great 😉 There you meet more 😎 photographers.
