After centuries of searching, Nessie has been found! Unfortunately for the tourist trade, she has moved to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. She is staying in the yard of a little tract house, across the street from the hospital, where she came to receive medical treatment for a very itchy skin condition caused by too much water on the skin, with never a chance to dry out.
She says that the slightly abrasive quality of the soil on her skin is very soothing.
Cheers, all!

Adele: She probably didn't need one … she could have left the UK either via the "inver" of Inverness, or Westward, via the Caledonian Canal, although locking-through might have caused her problems. And in through the St. Lawrence Seaway … the only locks there are in the Welland Canal, around the Falls, and they are plenty big enough for her, since they were built for very large ships. The entire journey might have been accomplished in secret.Judith: I've never been over there at night, so I don't know.

Rosh: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loch_Ness_MonsterSami: It's not the water so much as the drying out. π π

So happy to hear that her dermatological issues are resolved! Scotland will miss her. Maybe she left a friend or relative behind to carry on the search??

No wonder I could not see her in Loch Ness, if she is in Milwaukee.:(
