I reckon it’s about time I put up some more …

12 May

I haven't posted any new stuff for quite a while, so I figured that I might as well just start posting … this is over a spell of many days, so they don't necessarily relate to each other … This first is just a little shot of a new philodendron.

I always like to see that little drop of water on the leaf.
And this next one is … well, you can guess; I'm sure you'll get it:

These are of my son-in-law's Russian wife and her little girl …

And this next shows my cat "claiming" my clothes:

And the weather, while moderating, ain't moderating too damned much … I reckon that's kinda typical of the Midwest, though … this is a haiku that I made several years ago:

Chill rains, absent sun,
Snow in the middle of May:
Spring, Midwestern style!

But the trees are beginning to acknowledge the lengthening of the daylight hours. These are "flowering crabapple" trees, not flowering yet, but just wait …

And the relatively mild temperatures leads some chaps to polish their new tractors …

And it also calls forth (from the woodwork, seemimgly) all sorts of growling yellow or red beasts, digging in the dirt just for the joy of it.

That was from a doctor's office windows … any shortcomings in quality may be ascribed to the glass, although it did seem remarkably clean. Meanwhile, exploring a bit, in another doctor's office, I found this:

Singularly appropriate, I thought … the guy is a urologist.
And a biker:

And at home …

… Fuzzybritches waits for me.
I've got some more, but I think I'll make another post of them.
Cheers all!

Nice to view some new pictures. I have to ask about the second one. Is it bread?

Thank you, ladies … I appreciate the appreciation … and yes, Unni, it is bread; dark pumpernickel rye and regular rye bread, rolled up together and baked as one loaf. These are adjacent slices. It's good bread, but sometimes it tends to unwind!Olga, yes I will say привет to Людмила … in Екатеринбург, she was "Люда" and here she is 'Mila. Funny how we use one end of the name, and you use the other end.I have noticed the water drop most often in the morning, I think … mostly after I water the plant at night. This is a plant that you can grow in water, so be generous with the water; it likes its feet wet.

Ahhh….great bunch of very diverse photos dW! Loved the truck and construction equipment. The bread too! It's surprisingly very striking. The ones of your daughter in law and granddaughter are very sweet and beautiful.
