Your camera is certainly capable of it, your 10 MPixels is superior to mine, but I don't know what lens you're using. I suspect it's the 18-55mm zoom that usually comes with these cameras, in which case, you are not going to be able to do it.My camera is one of the extreme zooms from Olympus, and the longest extension is 504mm. So, even with resolution of "only" 7.1 MPixels, I can get a pretty large image. And then I enlarge it to what my computer says is 100%, and trim off the extra.The actual technique of shooting the picture is relatively straightforward; I set the lens at its longest, set the camera to "P" (Programmed exposure), brace myself against whatever I can (this time it was a telephone pole), and shoot several exposures as carefully as I can.It took very little Photoshopping, mostly for trimming and sharpening. (Did you get that Photoshop?)

Lan, your Canon is plenty good enough. You have the same problem (or advantage, if you look at it the right way) as Nathalya Risis; that is, you need to buy a telephoto lens for it, These aren't terribly cheap, but that's the only obstacle.
