Don’t blame me …

26 Feb

… you told me not to stop!
I kinda get a charge out of seeing the old ones, anyway … it's funny (actually, not too damned funny) how some of the ones that I worked up on the old CRT screen look like crap on this screen. Ain't technology grand?

Might as well start with some "edge of night" shots …

Actually, that's more of an "edge of day" shot … dawn.

Another. This next one's dusk …

Dusk, after a spring rain.

Dawn, at my building.

And a sunset, at the same place.

This is looking the other way.

This mourning dove is on sentry-go every evening. He keeps a sharp lookout for the occasional hawk.

Now this next bunch … well, I have to stress that I added or subtracted NOTHING from each picture, nor did I move anything. I did work them over to bring out what was there, but I do that with every shot. That said …

Naethin' like a wee bit o' guid fortune, eh? As Mel Torme said, "Given a choice between talent and luck, I'll take luck every time."

A sunrise …

And a rather nice moon.
And a full one:

Enough mooning around … I'm tired, I'm sleepy, and my coffee no longer seems effective … Yawn!

I hope you folks enjoyed them …
Cheers …

I absolutely adore sky pictures, because the sky can be so dramatic. Very nice shots indeed. My favourites are number 3 and 5.

Positively love that half moon right in the center with the dark blue sky and framed by clouds on top and bottom. I think it's the 11th photo. Love that solitary bird on the roof too….but all are gorgeous.

Somehow, we seem to invest the sky with spiritual qualities, don't we? An interesting phenomenon, really. I must cogitate upon this.

I'll look it over, but at this point, I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about … LOL … I guess this might be the thing I learn today.

Well, welcome! Look at them all you like! I'm happy that they please you.Later: 1) I have other blog entries with other photos … feel free to look at them, as well. 2) Just from curiosity, since you speak in the singular, which one was it that you liked so much?
